Interning with Ripe Time offers an excellent opportunity to gain an understanding of how a small nonprofit theatre company operates. Interns become an integral part of the company’s artistic and administrative operations, gaining experience and skills to negotiate within the greater New York City theatre landscape.

Production Interns are hired during production periods and must be available for rehearsal period/ technical rehearsals/ run of the show, as required by the specific role filled.
Administrative Intern applicants must be available for a minimum of one full day or two halfsdays of work per week. Start and end dates are flexible though tend to coordinate with Spring, fall and summer of academic calendar. Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated individuals are encouraged to apply. Strong computer and writing skills are crucial. Ripe Time’s Administrative Interns are invited to observe the company’s rehearsal process and artistic meetings.
